Janine was co-manager of the Prosser Machinery Consignment Auction for many years and has been cashier for Ruhter Auction & Realty, Inc. since 1979.

Society Board of Directors and Chairman of Oregon Trails Rodeo Committee for 7 years as well as Director of National Invitational Truck Rodeo in Las Vegas.

June 9 & 10, 2012- Nebraska Auctioneers 64^th Annual Convention

Hastings, Nebraska June 14, 2012- Ruhter Auction & Realty, Inc. was awarded first place in the 64^th annual Nebraska Auctioneers Convention advertising competition held in Kearney, Nebraska.

With all members of the Nebraska Auctioneers Association eligible to compete, Ruhter Auction & Realty, Inc. was awarded first place in the website division of the advertising contest. This website was recognized as a leader in auction promotion, the first step in conducting a successful auction. The auction method of marketing has become most prominent in this time of historically high farmland values. The auction method has allowed sellers to achieve the fair market value for their properties and at the same time allowing buyers the opportunity to bid competitively on farmland.
